So here's the run down. I was born in Texas, moved to Indiana when I was around 2 or 3, and moved back to Texas when I was 13. For those that may not know, Texas is big. Huge. You're practically in a long distance relationship with someone if they live on the South side of Houston and your North! The point I'm trying to make is that I've lived in Texas for nearly 16 years and there are still many cities I've yet to see. San Antonio was one of those cities I've always wanted to visit. I always heard how the Alamo was so small, but you never truly believe it unless you see for yourself.
I got that opportunity about a month ago. Though it may be small, I was still impressed! It amazes me how such an old building is surrounded by all the modern buildings.
We stayed in the Drury Inn right off the Riverwalk (this was actually an old bank). Let me tell you... I was in LOVE with the lobby! I regret that I didn't take more pictures of the inside. I felt like I should have been dressed as a flapper girl because of the beautiful art deco style. If you ever get the chance, I recommend staying there! It was a quick trip, but that didn't stop me from taking a million pictures! Enjoy!
